We stock and sell the multi award winning Gaelic Whiskies and Gaelic Gins. Established by Sir Iain Noble in 1976 the Gaelic Whiskies were created to provide authentic whiskies, of quality, for the Gaelic speaking Hebridean Islands of Scotland. Uisge Lusach, the Gaelic Gin, was first distilled at Eilean Iarmain in 2017 and is probably unique in that it is distilled in an illicit whisky potstill!

Just 6 miles up the road Hotel Eilean Iarmain, our other hotel is a small hotel of character set in a stunning location looking over the water to the lighthouse of Isle Ornsay. Included in the Good Food Guide since 2017 the hotel offers quality cuisine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Armadale Castle, Gardens & Museum

Half a mile away from the Inn is Armadale Castle, Gardens & Museum of the Isles, a Visit Scotland 5 star visitor attraction that’s a ‘must see’ for any visit to Skye. Visitors can explore magnificent gardens, visit an award-winning museum and admire the ruins of Armadale Castle, the former seat of the Macdonalds of Sleat. The site is open 9 months a year and there’s also a lively programme of activities and events. More information

The gallery situated on the shore by the old stone pier at Eilean Iarmain, was inspired by the late Sir Iain Noble and hosts a range of exhibitions throughout the season, from April to October. Sir Iain aimed to promote artists whose work celebrated Scottish landscapes and wildlife. The legacy continues with the support of Lucilla, Lady Noble. This unique and intimate location allows the artist to be present and often creatively working in the gallery. Exhibitions run from April to October.
