The Inn @ Àird a' Bhàsair, formerly known as the Ardvasar Hotel, one of the oldest inns on Skye, joined the Eilean Iarmain Group of businesses in 2017. Recently refurbished, and offering comfortable accommodation, the inn provides Scottish cuisine including locally caught seafood and local venison/game. Located only a short distance from Armadale, it is ideally suited to those travelling to and from the ferry to Mallaig, and is an excellent base to explore the world renowned sites of Skye as well as the island's newest distillery at Torabhaig just four miles up the road.

Imagine yourself, awaking to the birds chirping and the sizzle of bacon. The crisp mountain air fills your lungs…

Following the government announcement of Friday 20th March, it was with a deep sense of sadness that we closed the doors at The Inn @ Àird a' Bhàsair. The safety and wellbeing of our staff, our guests and our local communities are of paramount importance and it is our responsibility to ensure the necessary safeguards at this difficult time.

We will continue to take the advice of Public Health Scotland, and will keep you updated.

Our reservations office remains open and we will be more than happy to discuss any future travel plans that you might have, including the rescheduling of existing reservations during this closure period.

We are making contact with all our guests who have reservations booked in April and May. If you have a booking, please do not hesitate to be in touch with us.

We would be very happy to make arrangements for you to reschedule your visit, rather than to have to cancel. Please rest assured, we will do our very best to achieve the most satisfactory arrangement for you. If you are not able to reschedule visit and need to cancel we will arrange to refund any deposit you have paid.

We are, as always, grateful for all your support and honoured that The Inn is the place that you and your families choose to spend your quality time.

We hope to see you all soon, and we look forward to offering you a very warm welcome when we reopen.

In the meantime we wish everyone the very best to get through these difficult times.
