We are delighted to announce the appointment of Joanna Lockley to the role of Manager at The Inn @ Àird a’ Bhàsair.
Joanna, a native of Skye, was raised in Torrin and is very familiar with this part of the Island; her connections and local knowledge will be invaluable as she welcomes visitors and locals alike to the Inn when it fully re-opens on 3rd April.
Joanna brings with her a wealth of experience from previous employment in London, Glasgow and Cork, Ireland. She has also travelled throughout the UK developing and delivering leadership training programmes and has experience in the Hospitality and Events sector.
Since returning to Skye with her family, Joanna has become an active member of the local community, amongst other things, volunteering as a Rescue Officer in HM Coastguard covering Skye and Lochalsh. Speaking of her appointment, Joanna said,
“The opportunity to manage at Àird a’ Bhàsair allows me the scope to share the delights that Skye has to offer amongst our warmly welcomed guests. Our valued team and I strive to give both visitors and our local community a place with a friendly atmosphere
and excellent local cuisine. I’m thrilled to be part of it all!“
Joanna is looking forward to the full reopening of the Hotel for the season and ensuring a warm Highland welcome awaits guests to the Inn @ Àird a’ Bhàsair and those living in the local community.
